disappointment, abandonment, And grief
Yes you have been half loved,
minimally loved
Or not loved at all
Yes you have been
beaten down, beaten back,
stepped on and walked over
Goddess he has taken these things
And transformed you
and given you a new look.
She has given you the
tilt of dignity,
the stance of determination,
the sway of triumph,
She has given you wisdom of Grandmother,
nurturing of Mother,
Devotion of Sister,
and affection of Lover.
I see strength of beauty
and the beauty of your strength.
